A Lifetime Visualised
The average lifespan is about 80 years. Each of the 4,160 dots on this poster represents one week, and each row of dots represents one year of life.
Amongst friends, family, and co-workers, I shared this with, it was polarising. Some loved it, some hated it. Most asked, “Why’d you make this?”.
It’s because our lives are so short. That 4,160 dots representing a lifetime can fit on a single piece of paper is a reminder that our time is limited. We should spend it wisely.
